Inner London Cleaning Ltd are proud to announce a partnership with National League side Dagenham & Redbridge FC.

As of the 2023/24 Season Inner London Cleaning will be the clubs Goal of the Month sponsor.

With the cost of living crising currently affecting so many we at Inner London Cleaning feel now, more than ever, its our duty to push for better wages for our staff.

We can proudly say that over 70% of our new contracts between April & June 2022 have been Living Wage contracts.

Office Desks - Hot or Not?

The modern office environment has changed significantly in the past 10 years. Gone are the blue or grey desk screens, replaced with a more home-from-home feel where employees are encouraged to be more active and flexible through the use of hot-desking.

Part of the idea of hot-desking is to encourage staff to have less clutter on their desk and promote a tidier and cleaner workspace. However this idea of a work space being cleaner due to less clutter maybe a myth and lead to a false sense of security. A recent study has shown that hot-desks actually have, on average, 18% more bacteria on them and that a shared computer mouse in a hot-desking environment had a 41% higher microbiological reading compared to a computer mouse on a fixed-desk space.

Whilst this maybe a scary thought its not to say hot-desking doesn’t have its pro's. To avoid the pitfalls staff and managers can think about their cleaning routine and working with their cleaning staff to avoid the buildup and spreading of bacteria.
